YEAR 9 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 2
Cross Country
Congratulations to the Year 9 students who participated in the Cross Country event held on Tuesday. I was very pleased to see so many Year 9 students competing both competitively and recreationally to gain points for their House. What a great start to sporting activities for the term.
Camp
With only a few weeks until camp, preparations will soon begin for this exciting event. During our SEL Lesson next Tuesday, teachers will go through camp packing requirements and behaviour expectations. Students will be advised of their activity groups upon arrival at camp.
All students will be expected to attend the alternative activities on the days they are not at camp. These will run on Monday and Tuesday for Group 2 and Thursday and Friday for Group 1.
Report Cards and Parent/Student/Teacher Conversations.
During our extended SEL lesson, students will review their Term 1 report cards to celebrate their achievements and set goals for areas requiring improvement. An important part of this reflection process for students is engaging in positive discussions with parents and carers.
Parent/Student/Teacher conversations will be held in the HOB next Thursday. We encourage parents and carers to make an appointment with teachers to discuss any questions or concerns.
