From the Principal's desk

This year has in some ways been defined in two parts, the success of a year of normal schooling and the sadness of a tragic accident.

The school community has certainly rallied and the students and staff have been amazing throughout the year despite the loss of three young lives. Supports were put in place and continue for the community in a variety of intervention and prevention strategies.

To our Year 12 students and those leaving schooling for the workplace or other learning opportunities, we say farewell, good luck and thank you for your contributions to our school. To staff leaving for new opportunities we also thank you for your hard work and dedication to our students. Our Year 12 results were consistent with expectations and there were some outstanding results showing reward for effort. Congratulations to Aleisha Crane as our 2023 Dux.

At this stage of the year as we look towards Christmas and the New Year I would like to wish everyone a safe as prosperous holiday time and we look forward to seeing our students back safe and rested for 2024.
