Defence Mentor
As we near the end of Term 2, I would just like to reflect on the last 10 weeks, and would like to thank all the families that have provided me with information about their child/children, this has helped me to understand them better as a person, so that I can assist them with their time here at St Mary's as a Defence student. If anyone is yet to send this information along, I would be more than grateful to receive it in the coming weeks.
Many of the children have very much enjoyed the defence club, coming to play, craft, or just use it as a safe space to sit and stay warm with friends.
I hope that this continues in to Term 3.
Hot chips was a success with the children, even a few older students came along which was great to see.
Freya used her creativity skills and made a 'Defence Banner' for our area, and John spent a very long time sorting the Army men/tanks, So long that I felt bad having to pack it all away!
