Term 4 in the Library

Term 4 is underway, and we start to turn our attention to exams and the end of the year.  

Our Year 12s are on study leave, and it is delightful to have so many of them coming to the Library each day to study and work with their friends and meet with their teachers. We have a great collection of Checkpoints study guides available on short term loan to support them at this time. 

Our reading classes continue, with our junior classes having the opportunity to explore different genres and styles of writing. Year 7s have recently considered contemporary fiction, Year 8s are exploring mini book clubs and reading with friends, while Year 9s have contrasted contemporary YA with vintage young adult stories. We love to give students the opportunity to broaden their reading repertoire, and hope that these “spotlights” will help them develop their autonomy as readers.
