Boarding Christmas Dinner
The Boarding Christmas dinner was held on Thursday of Week Eight and was a great success. The night was a celebration of the whole boarding community, with students dressing in a Christmas theme and enjoying marvelous food. We invited key support people from boarding and the day school, who have helped our students throughout the year.
There were prizes for best-dressed awarded by our Head of Boarding, Mr Ashley Keatch and Principal, Mr Mathew Irving. Congratulations to Stella Altham, Grace Bailey, Harrison Smart, Lucas Smart and Henry Smith.
The evening was also an opportunity for the students to farewell Mr Taylor Colton and Ms Carter Wight from the Boarding Community.
It was a lovely evening with much laughter, kind words and thoughtful gestures. Mariella Somerscales said grace before dinner and we all enjoyed the feast that was put on by Chef Nick Harvey, Chef James McNeil and the dining staff. We thank them all for putting on such a wonderful Christmas dinner.
Photo Competition
The winners of the photo competition were also announced at the Christmas dinner. This competition has been running for seven years and we would like to thank everyone who entered and everyone who voted. Chloe Climie assisted in handing out the prizes to the winning photos.
Third place was awarded to Poppy Ford (Year Eight) for her photo named Gary and Gonzo. Well done, Poppy.
Second place was awarded to Fletcher Patterson (Year Nine) for a photo of his puppy named Bear. Well done, Fletcher.
First place was awarded to Leo Cunningham (Year Eight) for a photo he took at night, the photo aptly named Into the Night, it was also a very late entry so he did well to gather the votes to win. Congratulations Leo!
Please enjoy viewing all our entries this year.
