WPS Community Children’s Garden

This fortnight has been all about rubbish. Although it was too wet for Garden Club to participate in Clean Up Australia (this will go ahead in a couple of weeks), we still got to do our bit towards the 5 R’s (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle).
We potted up some kale seedlings into used take away coffee cups. One of the great things about coffee cup pots is that you can decorate them 😊. It was suggested to students that when these pots make it home, they get their parents to help them put holes in the bottom to let excess water drain out.
