I Sea I Care
Ambassador Program
This year Christ Our Holy Redeemer Primary has brought in a new leadership opportunity for our Year 5 students. It’s the i Sea, i Care Ambassador Program run by the Dolphin Research Institute. The i Sea, i Care Ambassador Program is an award winning program that fosters a strong sense of ‘Marine and Coastal Self-Esteem’ and stewardship for the truly unique marine values in Victoria.
Interested year 5 students had to submit an application to Ms T outlining why they would make a good Ambassador, they had to discuss what they were passionate about and identify some initiatives the school could introduce. It was hard to choose due to the quality of the applications but in the end we chose 4 students to represent our school for 2026.
I am proud to announce the names of the ISIC Ambassadors: Jasper, Alba, Henry and Imogen

These students will attend one workshop each term, where they learn about the value of our marine environment, how we are always connected to it and how to teach the wider community to care for it. In a couple weeks we will head to Sorrento to take part in the Moonraker Boat Tour with other schools, where we will learn about marine animals and have the opportunity to swim with Weedy Sea Dragons and possibly seals and dolphins.
Stay tuned for more information as the year unfolds! Thanks, Ms. T
