A message from the School Captains

A Fantastic Start to the Term!
Wow, what a busy and exciting start to the term it has been. We have already done so much as a school community and have had many opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together.
We kicked off the term with O Week, getting to know our classmates better and settling into our new routines. We have also participated in Kids Helpline webinars, learning important skills about relationships and cyberbullying.
It has been wonderful to welcome parents and students with our Meet and Greets and our Open Days, where potential families got to explore all the astonishing aspects of our school and see all the amazing things we do here, from interschool sports to being encouraged by peers in our classrooms.
Our interschool sports have already started, giving us the chance to develop teamwork and sportsmanship. In the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program, we have been learning new cooking and gardening skills, which has been such an enjoyable experience.
We also celebrated Shrove Tuesday with mouth watering pancakes and attended Mass on Ash Wednesday, reflecting on the start of Lent and what it means for us. The Grade 3 students have been part of Reconciliation Commitment Masses and Family Faith Nights, strengthening our understanding of faith and community.
One of the highlights so far was the Welcome BBQ on the oval with all students and parents. It was a fantastic opportunity to socialise, enjoy the sunshine, and kick off the year together.
So far the term has been jam-packed but exciting, and we cannot wait to see what comes next. It is going to be another fantastic term full of endless learning, friendship, and fun.
