7C3 Melbourne Zoo Excursion

Hello everyone, 

This is your class captains of 7C3, Ajitesh and Amy. 

Friday 31st July, 7C3 went on an excursion to the Melbourne Zoo to learn about endangered species and brainstorm ideas of what we can do to help and protect them and their environment. We saw many animals, observed them and played games based on the topic. 

For the next three months, we plan to go to the Science Gallery at Melbourne University, to research and find out more about our animals. 

We met another school named Essendon Keilor Secondary School, and we collaborated with them, dividing into groups of 4-6 from both schools, to find out more information about the endangered species we chose. 

The lions were really loud at times when we were in the education centre. 

Many people enjoyed the excursion (except the fact that our legs died from walking to and from the zoo) and we learnt so many new things and are excited for more research.
