Blind Café

The Blind Café was a fantastic opportunity for our school community to build awareness and understanding of what it can be like to experience the world without sight.
Participants rotated through three engaging activities: a drawing station, where they created pictures without being able to see; a food tasting station, which challenged them to identify different foods using their other senses; and a “What’s in the Box?” activity, where they used touch to work out mystery objects.
Our student leaders did a splendid job guiding participants, explaining each activity and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The event ran smoothly and was a great success!
