From the Visual Arts room.

Welcome to a wonderful 2026 full of creativity in the Visual Arts room.

Each student is required to have an art smock. Smocks can be purchased through the uniform shop, department stores such as KMart or Big W, or made at home from an oversized shirt. 

Please ensure that your child's name and grade is written clearly on the smock.

Each classroom has a tub where the smocks are kept and are used regularly in the art room.

Please note, there are no spare smocks in the art room.

This term students will be exploring elements of art - line, pattern and colour. 

Students will be inspired by the work of Indigenous artists and other artists such as Henri Matisse and Keith Harring.

find, purchase or make an art smock to be worn by your child in the art room this year .

Remember to write your name and grade for 2026 and bring it along to give to your classroom teacher ready to be used in the art room.
