Support Group
Over recent weeks, the Performing Arts Support Group have conducted a fundraising raffle, selling tickets at some of our larger performance events in the Robinson Centre Theatre. Fundraisers such as this help us to make upgrades to our resources in the performing arts, such as the 2024 purchase of radio mics that have lifted the sound quality of our School Productions.
We reached out to some local businesses and were delighted with the warm and generous responses.
We thank the following local businesses for their support of this fundraiser and encourage families to drop in on these businesses to thank them for their kind donations and show them as much support as they have shown us.
Mrs Quick thoroughly enjoyed the field work of visiting the businesses, especially getting a tour of the Ballarat Candy Company's factory from Mal in Bunninyong, where he told her about how he trained with the legendary Jack Brown of Brown's confectioners himself. Mal showed Mrs Quick some of the brass rollers and original Browns Confectionery Molds he uses. Whilst she missed dropping in at the Enga coffee stall on Market Day, the Enga team kindly delivered their delightful gift box to the school office in person. All of the people Mrs Quick has encountered along the way have been nothing short of brilliant in their support of this fundraiser, and she assures you won't be disappointed if you drop in and check out their wares at future markets or in store. (Stir Crazy's Lemon and Ginger refresher cordial is a delicious pick me up treat with soda water!)

All in all, the fundraiser raffle managed to raise an amazing $692! The Performing Arts Support Group thanks all those who purchased tickets as well as the sponsors. We will keep you updated with what the funds are put towards in the near future!
