John 14:15-21
Jesus promises his disciples that he will send them another advocate, the Spirit of truth.
Who does Jesus promise to send to help us?
What does the Holy Spirit help us to do?
When do you feel someone helping you make a good choice?
Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, fill our hearts and minds with Your light.Help us to listen, to learn, and to grow in wisdom.
Guide our thoughts and our actions,so that we may choose what is good and true.Give us courage to do God’s will,even when it is not easy.
Inspire us to be kind,to help others,and to use our gifts to make the world better.
Holy Spirit, stay with us each day,and lead us closer to God.
Amen.
Walking to the Table of the Lord
Our Eucharist candidates are continuing their journey of faith as they prepare to walk to the Table of the Lord. As they approach the Sacrament of the Eucharist, they are growing in their understanding of Jesus’ love and the gift of His presence in the Eucharist. We keep them in our prayers during this special time.
