NAPLAN 2026

We are delighted to share our students' excellent achievements in this year's NAPLAN assessments. These results reflect the hard work and commitment of our students, the expertise and dedication of our staff, and the ongoing support of our families.

We are particularly proud of our outstanding Year 5 Numeracy results, with 98% of students achieving in the Strong or Exceeding proficiency levels. This is an incredible result and shows the impact of our professional learning and work on consistent instructional practices.

Across both Year 3 and Year 5, high proportions of students achieved Strong or Exceeding, highlighting the positive impact of our evidence-informed teaching practices, targeted support programs and strong school-home partnerships.

While we celebrate these achievements, we know that learning is an ongoing journey. We remain committed to;

  • strengthening writing across all year levels
  • providing targeted support and extension to meet the needs of every learner,
  • continuing to build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy so that every student can grow, learn and thrive.

Although NAPLAN provides valuable information about students' literacy and numeracy skills, it is only one measure of learning. Every day, our teachers use classroom assessments, student work samples, observations and conversations to develop a comprehensive understanding of each child's progress and learning needs.

We also place great importance on developing creativity, curiosity, resilience, collaboration, confidence and wellbeing qualities that support our students to become capable, lifelong learners who make a positive contribution to the world around them.
