SSW Opens Girls Cricket
Congratulations to Goergia Grubisa who made it into the SSW Opens Girls Cricket Team!
Opens Boys Hockey Team
Our illustrious Open Boys Hockey Team journeyed to the Shire to play Caringbah H.S in the round of 16 state-wide competition. Unfortunately, a bit of bad luck and some tough defence from the opposition saw the boys eliminated. As always, we are proud of their effort and how they didn't stop trying until the final whistle. A massive thanks to Mr Miller for his umpiring, the parents who supported the team, and a fond farewell to our Year 12 students - Elijah P and Jayden T.
Bring on next year!
Open Girls Knockout Hockey Team
The Open Girls Knockout Hockey Team had a great day at the SSW Central Venue. They played their first game against Elizabeth Macarthur High School and took out the win! In the second match they went down to Mount Annan High School. The team was made up of experienced players and some trying hockey for the first time! We came away with second place in the Macarthur Zone and 3rd place in the SSW region. The highlight of the day was goals being scored by two of our first timers!!! A big thank you to our Year 12 girls and the contribution they have made to our school team over the years! We will miss you!!!!
Macarthur Zone and SSW Hockey Champions
Our Boys Knockout Hockey team attended their Central Venue Day for Hockey. With a player down and three brand new players to the sport, they tackled Elizabeth Macarthur High School first up, winning 4-2. Next up, they played Mount Annan High School, winning 7-1, before finishing the day with an 8-3 win over Bonnyrigg High School. The boys all played remarkably well and demonstrated good sportsmanship and tenacity to play three games with no subs. Campbell O, Benjamin O and Harrison N all finished the day with multiple goals apiece.
Well done and good luck as you prepare to progress to the Round of 16 in the State.
