From the Director of Junior School 

Dear Families, 

As we move toward the end of the school year, our focus naturally turns to supporting students as they prepare to transition into their next grade. These moments of change are important opportunities for our children to practise resilience – stepping into something new with confidence, curiosity and trust in the people around them. 

Throughout the year, our Junior School teachers have worked closely and collaboratively to ensure each child is known, supported and challenged in their learning. This commitment extends beyond academics; we place equal importance on student wellbeing so that every child feels safe, valued and ready to engage fully in the classroom.

Our transition processes are carefully planned with both learning and wellbeing at the centre, helping each student take their next step with certainty and optimism. 

Next Monday 24 November, our students will participate in Step-Up Day. This is an exciting opportunity for them to meet their 2026 class teacher and spend time with their new classmates. Step-Up Day offers a meaningful ‘taster’ of the year ahead, helping to ease anxieties, build connections and spark excitement for what is to come.
