From the SRC

For the past few weeks, the SRC has been hard at work creating a supportive community in our school.
On the 27th of April, we commemorated ANZAC Day with a whole-school assembly featuring our distinguished guest, Corporal Cooper, from the Sandringham barracks. Along with that, we laid wreaths in recognition of all the people who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our peace and freedom.
Over the next few weeks, we have planned many events for this school's students. We have our yearly Athletics Carnival on the 14th of May to promote socialising and a sense of community. It is an exciting opportunity for students to go to state or regional events that will allow them to showcase their many talents and represent the school.
In two weeks, we will have a Cultural Diversity Week to celebrate all the cultures and traditions in our diverse school. We plan to have food trucks and fun activities from different backgrounds to entertain the students all week. We’re excited for all these upcoming events and we hope all students enjoy the exciting opportunities that are awaiting!
