The Roxburgh Community Hub is open on Mondays, Tuesdays (playgroup only) and Wednesdays.
Here is the timetable for Term 2:
If you are interested in joining any or all of the classes, please come along and enrol at the Hub. Everyone is welcome! Speak to Diana (Community Hub Leader)
Classes we offer include:
English classes:Mondays 9:15am to 11:15am
Beginners to Intermediate Level are welcome.
Sewing for Life Classes: Wednesdays 9:30am to 11:30am
This course suits all levels. Come along and learn how to sew with guidance from a teacher. Or if you have a project in mind, bring along your materials (fabric, thread etc) and we will help you make it! (Sewing machines provided by the hub)
Playgroup:Tuesdays 9:30am to 11:00am
Our Playgroup now has a new vibrant and colourful space!It is situated in Room 19.
Please enter from Thomas Brunton Avenue. Walk through the gates and over to the Playgroup Room.
We also have a well resourced Free Toy Library available to everyone. It is open on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.00am.
Breakfast Club / Healthy Start Breakfast Program : Open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 8:50am in the Big Gym
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
All students are welcome and encouraged to come and grab a healthy bite to eat before starting school.
Community Pantry - Open Mondays and Wednesdays during class times.
The Community Pantry is open to all of our school community. Please enter through the back gates.
A variety of food is available: milk, cereals, snacks, canned foods and fruits and read-to-eat meals and soups.
Volunteering opportunities
Here at the hub, we are always looking for volunteers!
This is a great opportunity to meet new people, make connections with others and open up opportunities for future employment.
