RUOK? Day Wellbeing Expo 2026

Horsham College certainly took the casual dress day theme of ‘A Splash of Yellow’ to heart last Thursday when the school community came out in force to mark RUOK? Day with a lunchtime Wellbeing Expo.

Covering off all areas of wellbeing, including physical, spiritual, emotional, social and mental health, the college welcomed exhibitors Headspace, Empire Youth, River Youth and for the first time ever, Sally Pymer of Empowered with Sally. 

The sunshine helped students wash down more than 350 Spaghetti Jaffles and hundreds of lollypops and Minties as they dressed up for the photo booth, tried out different ways of asking, “Are you okay?”, played giant Connect Four and risked it all in Zorb Ball soccer.

Organised by the chaplain, the whole event encouraged meaningful personal connections and helped students’ informal support networks learn to recognise the signs of distress.
