End of Term 3 – A Look Back 

Term 3 has been a great success. We have had many events and provided many opportunities for students. These events have included: Grade 6 Visits, Year 9 and Year 10 Camps, our school’s production, subject selection days, many sporting events (football, netball, athletics, basketball, and volleyball), academic opportunities (German Poetry, VCE revision lectures, musical performances, and many incursions and excursions for classes), wellbeing activities (including the recent RUOK? Day Wellbeing expo), VET tasters and work experience and parent teacher interviews. 

Parent Teacher Interviews

Thank you to all the parents/carers and students who attended Parent Teacher Interviews on Wednesday. Collaboration between teachers, students and parents/carers is a cornerstone of student success. If you were unable to attend on the day, be sure to contact your students’ teachers if you have any questions regarding your students’ progress. 

Term 4 – Hats and Big Events

Firstly, please ensure that students have their school hats ready for Day 1 of next term. Replacement hats can be purchased from the Administration Office.

Secondly, Term 4 is a busy term, especially for Secondary Schools. Please note the following important Term Dates:

• October 5:  School Starts
• October 12 – 16: Progressive Achievement Testing Year 7 – 10
• October 20: Last Day of Year 12 Classes
• October 27 – November 17: Year 12 External Exams
• November 2 & 3: Student Free & Melbourne Cup 
• November 9 – 13: Year 11 Exams
• November 16 – November 20: Year 11 into 12 Headstart
• November 23 – December 4: Year 10 into 11 Headstart
• December 8: Statewide Orientation Day 
• December 11: Last day of 7 – 9 Classes

• December 14 & 15: Activities Days for 7 – 9 

   

Holidays

For Year 12 students completing exams, ensure that you attend the Revision Program at Horsham College to support you in your studies.
