Black Ranges Track and Field

The Black Ranges Track and Field event was held in Stawell last week. We had 30 students compete in a variety of events. They all competed well and represented the school admirably. We had a few students who performed exceptionally well and will progress to the Greater Western Region event to be held in Ballarat. All students helped with marshalling events and they all had a great day.

Year 7 Black Ranges Volleyball

The Year 7 Greater Western Region Volleyball competition last week was another great day for the team who all played well and played their part throughout the 3 games.

In the first game they went down in the first set relying on a great comeback to take it into a third set to decide the game. The boys prevailed and used their encouragement and team skills to get over the line to win the first game. 

The boys then went on to win the next two games very comfortably with everyone playing their part throughout the whole day. Their success has now given them the opportunity to compete at state level in Melbourne next term.
