Principal's Report

Dear families,

Excitement for our student trip to Japan has been building for months, and on Tuesday evening 15 of our students, accompanied by Mrs Cross and Mr Clusker and parents, set off on their 12-day adventure. The group is now immersed in the energy and excitement of Tokyo, the first stop on an incredible journey that will also take them to Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka. During their trip, students will experience Japan's rich culture and traditions, explore world-famous landmarks, sample local cuisine and make memories to last a lifetime. We look forward to following their journey and hearing about their many experiences when they return home on 28 September.

Over the last two days, our staff have been engaged in professional learning in preparation for our St Brigid's Virtual Reality Lab! It has been wonderful to see staff embracing new learning opportunities and exploring innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning. We are excited to continue building our expertise and look forward to bringing the many benefits of this incredible experience into our classrooms next term to further enrich and support our educational programs.

As our Year 12 students begin their final term break of secondary schooling, I would like to take this opportunity to wish them every success in the weeks ahead. This is an important and exciting time as they prepare for their final examinations and the culmination of many years of hard work. We have every confidence in their abilities and encourage them to approach the coming weeks with determination, balance and self-belief. We look forward to celebrating their achievements as they finish this important chapter of their education.

As we reach the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to sincerely thank our staff for their dedication, professionalism and ongoing commitment to our students. I also extend my gratitude to our parents and families for their continued support and partnership throughout the term. Gerard also wishes all members of our school community a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break. I hope everyone has the opportunity to recharge and spend quality time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back on Monday 5 October for another exciting term.
