Important information regarding School Bus Program

School Bus Program - Student Travel System

The School Bus Program provides travel assistance to eligible students in regional and rural Victoria with access to safe and reliable transport to and from school through a network of managed bus services.

What is changing?

The department is introducing the new Student Travel System (STS), which will replace the existing Student Travel Assistance Portal (STAP).

From Term 4, 2026, parents and carers will need to use the new STS to manage school bus travel for their children.

There are no changes to the School Bus Program policy. The eligibility criteria, application assessment, and bus allocation processes, remain the same.

What do parents and carers need to do?

In late September 2026, all existing parents and carers will receive an email with details on how to log into the new system and how to reset their password, which now includes multi-factor authentication steps as a further layer of data security.

Users will be able to log in to the new STS and view their travel details, and if no changes are required, no actions are needed.

Grade 5/6 Experience Day

Saver Plus

With Spring now here, many students look forward to participating in sports, extracurricular activities, and school holiday programs.

We understand how quickly budgets can be stretched, with the cost of sports uniforms, equipment, club fees, music lessons, camps, or after-school programs.

These are important activities that help children feel connected and part of their school and community.

Saver plus can support families with education cost.

Saver Plus, a free financial education program, that can help ease the financial pressure, which many families face with the rising cost of living.

Eligible families can receive up to $500 in matched saving, they also gain practical money skills through free online money minded workshops, helping them feel more in control of their finances.

Eligibility includes:

Having a Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card.

Having a child in school or starting school next year or studying by themselves.

Having a regular income (from work, partner, or eligible Centrelink payments).

These opportunities can make a real difference in helping students feel connected, included, and able to participate in school and community life.

Contact details and Student Medical Details

Just a friendly reminder if your contact details have changed could you please advise the Front Office so we can amend our records accordingly.

Also if you could please update your child's medical profile on PAM if their medical details have changed.

Student Safety

Students are reminded to take extra care when crossing roads around the College, particularly near parked cars where visibility can be limited. Please use the pedestrian crossing at the front of the school and avoid crossing between parked vehicles. Taking a few extra seconds to cross safely and stay aware of traffic is important for everyone.
