Kitchen Garden Program

Term 3 has been an absolute feast for the senses in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program! Our students rolled up their sleeves, harvested fresh produce straight from our school plots and chopped, stirred and cooked their way to incredible homemade meals. Watching the children proudly enjoy the fruits of their labor and eagerly asking for second (and third!) helpings has been the true highlight of the term.

Heartfelt Thanks to Our Incredible Community
This wonderful program simply couldn't run without our community's support. A massive thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who gave up their time this term to guide small groups, supervise knife skills and keep our kitchen running smoothly.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible Kitchen Garden Coordinators, Emma Wagner and Kate Holdsworth. Emma is stepping down at the end of this year after two fantastic years in the role. Her unwavering dedication to connecting our garden to our tables and the sheer joy she brought to our students has left a lasting impact on our school. We will miss her warmth and vision immensely.
We are thrilled to welcome Kate Duckett to help coordinate our program with Kate Holdsworth for 2027! Thank you for volunteering your time to ensure this cherished program continues to flourish.
