Swimming

Our Grade 1/2 students thoroughly enjoyed their swimming lessons at Surrey Park Swim Club during Weeks 2 and 3. The program ran smoothly, with students enthusiastically building their swimming skills, confidence in the water, and their understanding of water safety. 

Maths

Our mathematicians have been busy exploring a range of exciting concepts this term! In Multiplication, students have been investigating equal groups through skip counting, repeated addition and solving real-world problems. During our Time unit, students have been measuring and comparing the duration of events using activities such as clapping, reading analogue clocks, and ordering times and lengths of time. In Data, students have learnt about the 2026 Census and developed their skills in collecting, representing and interpreting data. They have enjoyed analysing information, including looking at different class groups across Whitehorse Primary School, and discussing what the data tells us.
