你 好 (ni hao) Welcome to our Specialists’ corner!

What a great Senior House Athletics Carnival on Wednesday at Bill Sewart Athletics Track in Burwood East. Despite the wind, cold and rain, our students and community showed great resilience to complete most of the events. Many children achieved personal best results, and some improved from what they achieved during P.E. lessons. It was great to see many children get into the spirit of the day and dress up in their House colours!

We had many children finish the day with a number of ribbons, and the encouragement of each other during different events was amazing to watch. As I finalise all the results and complete some field events that certain groups missed out on due to the weather, I will confirm the District Athletics squad and begin training the relay teams and other events. Thanks so much to the parent helpers, teachers, OSCH staff and education support staff who guided their groups through a range of events in testing weather conditions.

Congratulations to Oleanda (blue house) who won the House Athletics trophy based on the results completed last Wednesday!
