Principal's Update

Welcome to our School Leaders for 2025:

It is with great delight that we celebrated our 2025 School Leaders in Assembly and presented them with their leadership badge.

Our Leaders are chosen by their peers as well as by our staff. They are students who are showing respect to others, they have a caring  nature, show gratitude, empathy and resilience and mindfulness - all representing our Resilience Project - our key Wellbeing Platform.

This care starts in Prep and goes right through grade1,2,3,4,5 and 6 - so all younger students are encouraged to make sure they are being Upstanders, taking care of others and BEING THEIR BEST! 

Our Leaders are learning and growing. As leaders they are embracing the responsibility of service and support within our school community - it's about giving a hand when needed.

Congratulations to you all on beginning your Leadership experience, a journey of learning, collaboration and making a difference. We look forward to you embracing this opportunity with confidence and care. You are are now role models that our younger WMPS students look up to!

This is a monthly award we have introduced.

Staff vote on worthy recipients. We are recognising exceptional students who are contributing to the community and reflecting some of the values we share as Australians - fair go, mateship respect and inclusion.

Our AUSSIE OF THE MONTH for FEBRUARY is LEONARD T. Congratulations!

This is a very exciting time, and we are thrilled with our 2025 Leaders.

COLOUR FUN RUN is coming up Friday March 21 - please make sure you are signed up and helping us to raise funds to fix our landscape in 2025 - thank you!
