HARMONY DAY- FRIDAY 20TH MARCH
This Friday 20th March, Carnegie Primary School will be celebrating Harmony Day, as part of Cultural Diversity Week.
Harmony Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate Australia’s rich cultural diversity and to reflect on the importance of respect, inclusion and belonging for everyone in our community.
Students are invited to come to school wearing orange (the official colour of Harmony Day) or traditional cultural dress to represent their family heritage. Students may also wear a small touch of orange with their regular school uniform if preferred.
We look forward to celebrating the many cultures that make up our Carnegie Primary School community and embracing the message that everyone belongs.
Kind regards,
The Special Events Team
