On Thursday 12 March, we opened our classroom doors and warmly welcomed families into our learning spaces to see our students in action. It was wonderful to see so many parents, carers and family members visiting classrooms across all year levels and experiencing the learning that happens every day at our school.
Students were excited to share their work and proudly show their families what they have been learning. The classrooms were full of energy and conversation, making it a special afternoon for our school community.
Following the classroom visits, families gathered on the school grounds for a relaxed school picnic. With the ice cream truck adding a sweet treat to the evening, it was a fantastic opportunity for families to connect, mingle with class teachers and enjoy time together.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon such a success. Events like these are a wonderful way to strengthen the connections within our school community.

It is the second week of NAPLAN for our students in Years 3 and 5. We believe our children are well-prepared and should feel confident going into these tests. We wish them well and thank all parents for supporting us through the journey. A special thank you to Mr Joshua Acklom for taking on the lead role for this year. It’s been smooth sailing on most fronts, despite the hiccup that was experienced nationally last Wednesday.
Raphael Karasavvidis, our schools Performing Arts leader from Grade 6B was presented with a Merit certificate for his electric guitar performance in his Rock School music performance exam playing songs including Jonny B Goode, Under the Bridge, and Alive.
Congratulations!

Our School Council meeting was held on Wednesday 11th March.
I would like to sincerely thank our Council members whose terms concluded. Their governance and commitment to working in partnership with the school is appreciated. A special thank you to our Vice President, Richenda Sabo, Andrew Radion and Gaurav Sood.
Congratulations to Andrew Harrap, who remains as our President for 2026, Vice President - Andrew Needham, and returning treasurer, Alley Peck and Minute taker Jade Winterburn.
Warm Regards,
