Vinnies Winter Appeal

As part of our support for the Vinnies Winter Appeal, we are collecting cans of soup to help people in our community who may be experiencing hardship during the colder months.

We would greatly appreciate if you could bring in a can (or two!) of soup to donate. Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference.

Collection baskets are located in House Leader’s offices at each campus. Students can place their donations in their House basket to earn House points while supporting a worthy cause.

Thank you to all the staff and students who supported our BBQ at the Athletics Carnival last week and to the Beechworth Bakery for their generous contribution of the bread. All proceeds from this day will also be going to the Vinnies Winter Appeal.

Bin It To Win It!

A new College initiative is encouraging students to make a positive difference - one bottle or can at a time!

Through our Bin It to Win It program, students are encouraged to place eligible cans and bottles into their House recycling bins. The containers will then be recycled through Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme, with each eligible item helping to raise funds.

At the end of the year, the House that raises the most money will be crowned the Bin It to Win It champions - with all funds collected donated to charity.

The initiative is a practical way for our students to live out the values of our Living Justice, Living Peace Charter by caring for our environment while supporting those less fortunate than ourselves.

So, before you throw it away, remember: Bin It to Win It! Together, we can reduce waste, support a worthy cause and make a meaningful difference.
