Dear Netball Families

Round 5 and Grading Update

Round 5, and the final round of grading, provided some great competition on the courts. We will now begin to see changes across teams, with players moving up or down into different divisions. The aim is to place teams in divisions that best match their ability levels and allow for greater enjoyment of the game.

Round 5 results

  • Primary (Years 4 to 6): 4 wins, 2 losses
  • Secondary: 11 wins, 10 losses
  • Alumni: 1 win, 2 losses

Wet Weather Training Reminder

A reminder that all training sessions will continue as scheduled. Netball is a winter sport, and it’s important for players to build confidence and experience training in wet conditions.

If the weather becomes unsafe or unreasonable, sessions will move to undercover areas or the gym. Training will only be cancelled in cases of unsafe conditions, such as lightning or storms.

Our coaches are well prepared to deliver sessions in wet weather, with a focus on game play and skill development.

This morning, some of our Primary teams made the most of the gym, staying dry during their early training session.

Music Camp - 13 June

With players attending Music Camp this weekend, we have worked hard to ensure that all players are still able to play. This has meant forfeiting four teams and moving players up to fill gaps.

We thank all players for their flexibility and support with these changes. While team adjustments are not always ideal, our priority is to ensure that all players have the opportunity to take the court.
