Wellbeing Report

And just like that we are half way through the term. Our students have really found their groove at school and are making connections throughout all year levels. It really is a wonderful community we are part of.

In Wellbeing this fortnight the Junior classes have been looking at what makes a good friend and strengths they see in themselves and others. We had fun connecting this with the characters from Bluey. The Senior classes have been exploring their emotional triggers, as well as personal and cultural strengths. Exploring these topics is important for building students' sense of self. You can continue to explore these with your children through dinnertime or car trip conversations. Conversations starters can include:

  • Who is a person you admire and why?
  • Who is a friend you feel most safe and comfortable with and what do they do that makes you feel that way?
  • Name someone you trust. Why?
  • What makes someone a good friend? What makes you a good friend to others?
  • Name someone who made you smile today. What did they do?
