Swimming Carnival

School Swimming Carnival

As always, our swimming carnival was a highly anticipated event. The kids practised their chants in the lead-up to the carnival. Parents helped children plan their outfits, designed to display their team spirit. Parents were on the phone confirming team members for the much-anticipated parent vs teacher relay race. Mr Francis was on the phone with lawyers and prospective team members to ensure that the teachers were victorious this year.

Of course, the focus of the day was on the skilful swimming and courageous efforts of our school’s young athletes. It is always inspiring to see the development of swimming skills from one year to the next, and this year was no different.

Congratulations go to those children who participated in a large number of events. It is due to their efforts that we can run a successful swimming carnival.
