For our returning parents and students, welcome back to another year at All Saints’. To our new parents and students, we warmly welcome you to the All Saints’ family. It has been wonderful to already see so many smiling faces and engaging learning taking place in classrooms across the school.

Last Friday, we held a very successful swimming carnival. My sincere thanks go to Mrs Middleton for her organisation and leadership of the day. I would also like to thank the many parents who came along to support the students, assist throughout the carnival, and take part in the annual students vs teachers vs parents race. Unfortunately, it was not the parents’ year this time—but there is always next year!

As we move further into the term, our Little Learners (2027 Transition to School students) program will be commencing soon. Mrs Barclay has been working tirelessly to ensure everything is well prepared. This pilot program is shaping up to be a wonderful initiative for All Saints’, and we look forward to welcoming our Little learners shortly.

This evening we will be holding our Meet the Teacher night. This is a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and learn about the learning focus for the semester, as well as expectations for the year ahead. A sausage sizzle will also be available for families to enjoy.

Looking ahead to next week, we will observe Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. On Shrove Tuesday, senior students will be cooking pancakes at school to share with the rest of the school. Information will be sent home for families of students with dietary restrictions.

Ash Wednesday follows as the beginning of Lent, the most significant season in the Liturgical calendar. Lent is a 40-day period of prayer, reflection, fasting, and almsgiving, leading up to Easter. We will be celebrating Mass at 9:30 am, which will include the distribution of ashes. Families are most welcome to attend.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our school community.

God Bless
