Hello, my name is Father Perry, and I’m so blessed to have been sent to Tumbarumba as the new parish administrator of All Saints Catholic Parish. I was born in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. My family and I moved to Wagga Wagga when I was a child after my father heard of the vibrancy of the faith in this diocese.

After some years, we moved and settled in Albury, where faith, family and sport were my life. After leaving school early and working in my dad’s business, I moved to Melbourne for the opportunity of attending a cricket college. That time became an opportunity to further discern the direction of my life and ask the question of, instead of what I wanted to do, what did God want me to do? After arriving back home in Albury, I discerned God’s possible callingto me to be a priest and so entered the seminary in 2016. It was a time of joy but also challenges, which allowed my trust of God to grow and be strengthened.

I was ordained a priest in 2023 and spent time in ministry in the parishes of St Patrick’s Albury and Holy Spirit Lavington. I was then approached by the bishop to move to Tumbarumba to become the parish administrator, to which I accepted. So now here I am. I look forward to getting to know the students of All Saints and you, their families. I also welcome the opportunity to visit you at home. I ask that you please keep me in your prayers, as I will most assuredly be praying for you. May God bless you all and go the Navy Blues!
