Grade 5/6

Grade 5/6 students have been working towards finishing their class text, War Horse by the end of term. They have continuing learning new vocabulary from within the text as well as how to construct compound and complex sentences and knowing the difference between them.

In Maths, students have continued learning about fractions. They have learned about equivalent fractions and improper fractions, and how to use formulas to convert them.

In Humanities, students have been learning about the impacts of floods and bushfires, and ways to prevent them.
