Grade 3/4/5

We are nearing the end of Term 1, and it has certainly flown by!

In Reading, we have continued our class novel Leo and Ralph. We are almost at the end and have thoroughly enjoyed the story. Students have especially loved Ralph, Leo’s imaginary friend, and have enjoyed seeing Leo build a new friendship with Gus.

In Writing, we have been focusing on narrative writing. Students have been learning to use conjunctions such as but, because, and so to expand and improve their sentences.

In Mathematics, we have been exploring multiplication and division using arrays. Students have also been practising their times tables, including the 10s, 5s, 2s, 3s, and 4s.
