Year 1

This term, Year One students have been learning how to write a description about toys. They have been practising how to use noun groups to make their writing interesting. Here are a few snaps of 1F's writing this week.

Year 2

This week in Mathematics, our Year 2 students have been exploring the wonderful world of patterns! They have been identifying and creating repeating patterns using shapes, colours, and numbers. To bring their learning to life, the children applied their pattern skills to design beautiful mandalas. By carefully repeating shapes and colours in a circular design, they created eye-catching symmetrical artworks while strengthening their understanding of pattern rules and sequences. It has been fantastic to see their creativity shine as they combined maths and art so confidently!

Lots of Year 2 students came together at Year 2 Choir this week to sing and enjoy music. The choir is run on Wednesday's at lunchtime in the 2S classroom and is available for anyone who would like to join. Choir is a free program and there will be performance opportunities throughout the year. If your child is interested in joining, they are welcome to come next week.
