Stage 3 News

Year 5S(OC)
Year 5 have made a fantastic start to 2026. Students have been exploring a collection of books written by First Nations Communities, discovering powerful stories that highlight the importance of family, connection, and a deep respect for the land. Through thoughtful discussions and reflective activities, they are developing a deeper understanding of culture, community, and the strong ties that bind people to Country.
In Mathematics, our Year 5 Opportunity Classes have been enjoying an exciting collaboration with students from Sydney Technical High School. Together, they have been solving complex mathematical problems using a range of strategic approaches. This partnership has provided a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge their thinking, share ideas, and learn new problem-solving techniques in a supportive environment.
