2025 Subject Preferences

On Friday afternoon in weeks 2 and 3, students in Years 8, 9 and 10 attended an information session about their 2025 subjects. Many parents attended these sessions also to have an opportunity to find out about Calrossy’s course offerings and speak to teachers, Heads of Departments, our Careers Advisor and external providers such as TAFE.

Students now have two weeks to continue their research and submit their preferences. Preferences must be submitted to the online portal by: Tuesday August 27th, 9am.

The online portal has not yet opened for submissions, but students will receive an email to their school email account this week with instructions for accessing the portal when it opens.

Students and parents are encouraged to view the information available on the Hub as they continue to think about their preferred subjects, and to use the contacts listed to inquire about any particular subject. For any students or parents who missed the information session, a video recording of Mr Frazer’s presentation is available on these HUB pages, plus many more documents and links that will be helpful.

Stage 5 Students for 2025 are current Year 8 and 9 students

Stage 6 Students for 2025 are current Year 10 students

Students are encouraged to make well-informed decisions about their preferences as these are used to determine which classes will be formed in 2025, and while we will always try our best to accommodate later changes, once classes are formed this is not always possible.
