Athletics Carnival

On Wednesday, a select group of students from years 3 to 6 represented St Brigid’s at the SACPSSA Athletics Carnival. Our school participated in a range of track and field events with girls and boys competing in their respective divisions. St Brigid’s had a fantastic day with some impressive results. Nina received first place in five events, including a record time in the 800m run. Mark, Elyas, Lydia, and Maira, were also standout performers within their year level groups with top two finishes in sprint and hurdle events. A big congratulations to our year 4 and 5 girls relay teams for achieving first place!

Overall, it was a fantastic day for our school with many positive displays. The students represented our school well and demonstrated good sportsmanship and courage throughout the Carnival. 

A big thank you to Mr Brnabic, Mr Anthony and Miss Ritz for their support on the day.
