OLSH Pillar

Classes continue to focus on our OLSH pillar: We are Heart People who touch the Hearts of all.  Classes are actively discussing and exploring ways to connect with others in our community through a variety of learning experiences.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is celebrated in Australia each year on 11 November. All Australians are urged to observe one minute of silence at 11.00 am to remember those who have died or suffered for Australia’s cause in all wars and conflicts. While we honour and pray for those who have fought to protect this land and bring peace, we also focus on the place of peace in our hearts, families, and communities. It is an important day of remembrance for many countries around the world.  Jesus is our model for true peace and shows us how to be makers of peace.

On Monday there will be a short liturgy during the day to honour Remembrance Day.

Children's Liturgy

The next Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be at St Brigid’s Church on Sunday 10th November

Children's liturgy is a wonderful way for the children to have a better understanding of the Gospel of the day’s Liturgy and grow in appreciating the structure and the richness of the liturgy of the word section of the Mass.

Future dates for Children’s Liturgy are:

Sunday 10th November

Sunday 17th November
