Hello everyone, pleased to share what's been hip-hop-happening in the community hub space!

Playgroup

Some of the seeds the children have planted in playgroup are starting to grow which is SUPER exciting!!

We had our combined playgroup at Enfield Community Centre this week. We are so grateful the weather held out for us!! We had an excellent time joining with Blair Athol North's Children's centre and C.A.F.E Enfield for some outdoor fun! Safe to say the big bubbles were a crowd favourite!

Water Safety and First Aid

Valuable information about keeping safe in the water and learning some first aid skills like CPR and how to bandage a broken arm or snake bite!

Next Tuesday (12th) we again have a water safety information session, and the following Tuesday (19th) will be first aid (note: the first aid session is not accredited which means you won't get a certificate. It is an opportunity to learn or be reminded of what to do if an emergency happens!)

(English speakers are also welcome to come just know there may be translating happening!) Please let me know if you're intending to come!

Volunteering!

We would like to build our volunteering capacity within the school and community hub. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer we have two information sessions next week - details in flyer - for you to understand what the requirements are to become a volunteer, and then 2 optional sessions for support with completing the online RRHAN training.

Volunteers will be able to help with special school events (like mothers and fathers day afternoon teas, or sports day), class excursions, and support in community hub programs. (I am particularly on the lookout for any volunteers who would like to teach sewing!)
