3/4D

Mrs. Debbie Terry

Class SRC

Congratulations to all students who put themselves forward to represent 3/4D as SRC for 2026. It takes courage and determination, which are some of our classes core values to get up and speak in front of the class. Congratulations to Philippa and Ella who were voted as our SRC's for this year.

Shrove Tuesday

As students made their Lenten Promises on Tuesday, we also enjoyed eating some pancakes which is a Christian tradition. We learned about why it is a tradition and had a rich talk and discussion on Lent.

Home Learning

We understand that many parents will be interested in the requirements for Home Learning for 2026. The following information will be sent out (with further details) on Monday.

Reading: Daily - Book from the Library and/or Literacy Pro levelled readers

Writing: 2-3 times a term. Writing tasks will be sent home via Seesaw

Maths: 2-3 times a week via Essential Assessment (My Numeracy or Sunset Maths) or Timetable Rock Stars.

Getting to Know you Chats

A quick reminder that our Term 1 "Get to Know You" Chats are happening next Monday (3:30 - 7:00) and Wednesday (1:30 - 5:30).

These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for us to touch base early in the year. We would love to hear your insights on your child’s start to the term, as well as any important information regarding their social and academic goals. Your perspective helps us create the best possible environment for them to thrive! Looking forward to seeing you next week!

Please check a recent Audiri alert on how to book in your time. Any questions please contact the office.

Communication

If you ever need to contact me, the best way to do so is via email on: debbie.t@sfxfrankston.catholic.edu.au

Have a great week!

Kind regards,

Mrs Debbie Terry and Miss Jane
