Year 4 Eucharist Immersion Day

Our Year 4 students recently took part in a special Eucharist Immersion Day, deepening their understanding of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Throughout the day, they engaged in reflective activities that explored what it means to live the Eucharist in their daily lives— showing kindness, gratitude, and service to others. Through prayer, discussion, and hands-on learning, the students discovered how receiving Jesus in the Eucharist strengthens their call to love and care for those around them. It was a faith-filled experience that will continue to inspire them on their sacramental journey!

Eucharist Information Evening

Last week, our Communicants and their families gathered for a special Eucharist Information Evening, facilitated by Beth Walsh from MACS. The evening provided a meaningful opportunity for children to reflect on what it means to live the Eucharist in their daily lives. Through thoughtful discussions and shared reflections, the children offered wonderful insights about kindness, gratitude, and being Christ’s presence in the world. It was a beautiful night of connection, allowing parents and carers to engage in faith-filled       conversations with their children about this sacred sacrament.

A great resource that families can use at home to assist in the preparation of this sacrament is 'Journeying Together: Each session includes an invitation to explore and integrate the family’s lived experience with concepts from Scripture, the Church and the sacraments, along with oportunities to pray together. We hope that by opening this opportunity, many will encounter Jesus and engage with their faith in a fresh and meaningful way.
