St. Margaret’s P.S e-Smart News Edition # 3 - Tuesday 4 March 2025
Welcome to our third edition of St. Margaret’s e-Smart News for 2025. We will continue to explore and share a variety of e-Safety topics and websites during 2025 so please keep a look out and watch this space.
ICT Student User Agreements and School Photography and Recording Permission Forms: -
Four weeks ago, all families were sent a link via our website and School Stream app to view and complete our school’s 2025 Student ICT User Agreements and School Photography and Recording Permission Forms. So far we have had 370 students complete the online form with a family member, which is just on three quarters of the student population.
This online form needs to be completed on a computer device for each student individually by no later than this Friday 7 March 2025.

Final Notice Letters will be sent home to families next week for students who have not completed the online form, as the 2025 Student User Agreement is now in place.

Inform & Empower is another e-Safety Trusted Provider which contains some great resources and video links for parents. A link to these resources can be found below. Various levels will be watching online webinars throughout Term 1 on various important topics.

Some fantastic e-Safety resources containing advice and tips can be found using this link. https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents It is highly recommended for parents to have a look and explore the useful resources available from the eSafety Commissioner website.

To register for a webinar, go to https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents/webinars. It is highly recommended to book in advance in order to not miss out on a time. Webinars for 2025 will be released very soon in the new year and refer to the URL below for further eSafety information and useful tips on being eSafe!
