Garden Club

Garden Club is off to a fantastic start in our newly refurbished garden! Our goal is to create an edible garden filled with a variety of vegetables and herbs that students can help grow, care for and harvest and taste. We also aim to improve our school biodiversity, or range of plants and animals.  Every class will have the opportunity to participate in Garden Club, which is on every two weeks. Our Year 6 students have already had their first session where we made a wonderful start by preparing garden beds and planting the first crops. We have planted lettuce, spinach, rocket and flowers so far.

We can't wait to watch our garden grow throughout the year!

Organics Bins

Classes have appointed an Organics Officer to bring down their organics bins to be emptied into our garden compost bins. Well done to classes for using their organics bin for their food to prevent it going to landfill and help our garden!
