Year Two Excursion - Miners Rest

Our Year Two students enjoyed a wonderful excursion exploring the Miners Rest community. We visited key local landmarks including James Scobie’s House (built in the 1800s), the Miners Rest Rural Fire Brigade, Community Hall, Cenotaph, Community Playground, and the Bluestone Cottage.

Students learned about the history of our area and the importance of community spaces, while showing great enthusiasm and respect throughout the day. It was a fantastic learning experience for all!
