As we reach the end of term, The Year 8 team would like to congratulate our students on reaching the end of Term 3. It has been a busy and rewarding term, and it has been pleasing to see students continue to grow in their learning, relationships and confidence. As we head into the final term of the year, we encourage all students to continue demonstrating our school pillars of Work Ethic, Engagement, Relationships and Excellence and finish
the year strong.
New Locker Bay
The new Year 8 Locker Bay is finally finished and moved into, students are showing school pride with organised, fresh lockers. Thanks to Ange Knersch and others who facilitated the move 😊
LBU Hot Chip Lunch
This term, we once again celebrated student success with our traditional hot chip lunch. 50 students achieved an LBU of 3.5 or above and were rewarded for their consistent effort and positive approach to learning. A fantastic achievement, well done!

As in previous years, we will be continuing the use of Kurnai Positive Acknowledgements (KPA’s).
Last term Year 8s received over 3700 KPAs! This term Year 8s have currently received 3,546 KPAs!
We have also been putting form group against form group. The current leaderboard is:

Art News
Students have been working on designing a shoe inspired by a candy label whilst considering the responsibilities of a graphic designer.
