European Music Tour 2025
There has been a very positive response to the announcement of the intention to travel as music ensembles in 2025 to Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava. We look forward to the formal launch of the tour at the Information Meeting to be held during Term 1 next year, which will then lead onto the formal applications and offers of a position on the tour. More information and the expressions of interest link can be found at the tour website https://euromustour25.my.canva.site/.
Carols In The Quad
We are looking forward to supporting the P&F at the forthcoming community carols event coming up on Friday 1 December in the Huntingtower Quad from 6:30pm onwards. The Music Centre has put together a combined Carols Orchestra of our Middle School Concert Orchestra and the Huntingtower Symphony Orchestra, together with a large choir of students from Year 7 through to Year 12. Prior to the carols, various groups will contribute to the festive atmosphere with performances of Christmas themed music. We anticipate a large crowd joining in on the singing of Christmas carols and songs, so it should be a very joyous occasion.
Middle School Concert Orchestra @ Puffing Billy
On Friday 24 November the 60-piece strong Middle School Concert Orchestra will be performing at Lakeside Station on the Puffing Billy line over the lunchtime. To add to the enjoyment of performing to the tourists, we will take a ride on the train from Belgrave to Lakeside prior to setting up our performance space on the station.
